“For me, the secret to long, thick, healthy hair has always been the wet set, a ritual I’ve cherished for decades, passed down from my grandmother, to my mother, to me, and now to my daughter, Chelsea. But when the French rollers that once set the standard for elegance disappeared, so did a level of quality I could never find again.
When the quality of the roller is compromised, the result is compromised. That belief became my mission. After years of frustration with flimsy substitutes, I redesigned the bouffant roller from the inside out. With advanced materials and a luxury construction built to last, French Barrelettes are far superior to even the originals.
With French Barrelettes, I begin the next chapter of my own story, one of legacy and modern luxury. After a rewarding career as an orthodontist, creating confident smiles with an eye for symmetry and beauty, I entered a new stage of life as a founder. Now, in the second half of life, and alongside my husband of over 30 years and our two grown children, I’ve turned my passion for art, design, fashion, hair, and beauty into a new vision: leaving my own 'beauty mark' on the world.
